Load-By Plan Guidelines

¨      Member Freight Arrival Times and Carrier Live Load Equipment Availability Times are indicated typically as 2 hours before load-by times to coordinate timely unloading of inbound and re-loading of outbound.

¨      Live loads – carrier equipment availability must be 2 hours prior to load by. Drop & Hook loads – carrier equipment must be available by 7 am on planned loading date 

Guidelines For Driver Log Times:

¨      Depart Day & Time:  Logged from appointment time in reverse using the hours of driving time and the hours required to complete the deliveries.

¨      Calculated so the driver will have 6 hours of driving time to complete deliveries. Exceptions are indicated with an asterisk.

¨      Logged 10 hours driving then scheduled with 8 hours sleeping/break.

¨      Logged at 45 miles per hour east of the Mississippi River.

¨      Logged at 55 miles per hour west of the Mississippi River.

¨      Destination cities indicated have standard appointment times indicated.
