Benefits of Membership
	Membership in Wisconsin Paper Group is beneficial because it provides a competitive advantage for its members to promote their business development throughout the United States and Canada. Members benefit from low transportation costs derived through volume rates; members also realize a competitive advantage through optimal service from reliable shipping schedules and excellent carrier service performance. The WPG continually strives to improve transportation service at the lowest possible cost to support its members in developing their business by meeting their customer’s transportation requirements.
Applying for Membership
	To apply for membership in the Wisconsin Paper Group, an applicant must complete the Membership Application and must substantiate in writing that it has met all of the eligibility criteria for membership. All members are required to abide by the terms and conditions of the WPG Bylaws in order to participate in the benefits of the WPG. The Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Paper Group then reviews the Application and determines whether the applicant has met all of the eligibility criteria. In the event that the Board of Directors is unable to timely act on an applicant’s Membership Application, the President may, in some circumstances, admit an applicant as a Temporary Member for up to ninety (90) days or until the Board of Directors convenes to act on the application.
